A small team, a big wish to make gifting joyful

Darko is a small team tired of unwanted gifts and chaotic group chats. The name comes from the Croatian word "dar" — gift.

We're building the app we'd want to use ourselves: warm, honest, and free of ad profiling — from Croatia, for everyone.

Is Darko free?

Yes — the free plan is fully functional, forever (up to two private wishlists). Premium just unlocks a few nice extras that never get in the way of making your wishes happen.

How do my friends see my list?

Send them a link or a QR code. They open the list in Darko, see what's still open, and claim a gift in one tap — and for a pricier wish, they can pool together for a group gift.

Can I add a gift from any store?

It doesn't even have to be from a store. Paste a link and Darko will try to recognize the product automatically, or just snap a photo of the gift — Darko will try to identify it and help your friends track it down. If none of that works, add it manually in seconds.

Can the list owner see who claimed what?

Never — it's built into the core of the app, not just the interface. You get the gift as a real surprise first; only afterward does the giver mark it in the app, and that's when you find out who it was from.

Can I make my lists private?

Yes — share a list with all your friends, or keep it hidden and share it only with specific people, set individually for each list.

Does money for group gifts pass through Darko?

Never. Darko coordinates the plan, but money is never processed or held inside the app — that stays between you.
